Another safety car rule 'test' for Silverstone

Jul.4 (GMM) Another trial of proposed new safety car rules will take place during Friday practice for the British grand prix at Silverstone. The first test took place at Magny-Cours two weeks ago, drawing a mixed reaction from the drivers.

Jul.4 (GMM) Toyota's Jarno Trulli endured a woeful opening day of practice for the 2008 British grand prix.The Italian, despite finishing on the podium two weeks ago at Magny-Cours, looked slow at Silverstone, and then crashed at Stowe corner when his rear wing fell off.

AFP - A delighted Heikki Kovalainen grabbed his maiden Formula One pole position on Saturday with a near-flawless qualifying display at the British Grand Prix.
