20 July 2008 - The 2008 German Grand Prix yielded another double finish for the Force India Formula One Team, with Giancarlo Fisichella crossing the line in 14th position and Adrian Sutil in 16th.

Sutil adapts helmet

Aug.18 (GMM) Adrian Sutil is sporting a new colour-scheme for his helmet. The German driver has reportedly adapted his usual multi-coloured yellow, orange and green livery to better match his current team, Force India.

Aug.14 (GMM) Giancarlo Fisichella says he is happy to keep racing for Force India beyond 2008. Team supremo Vijay Mallya this week said he is happy with both Fisichella, the Roman veteran of more than 200 grands prix, and his German teammate Adrian Sutil. It is believed both Sutil and Fisichella, who is 35, are already under contract for the 2009 season.

Sutil is secretly gay?

Aug.10 (GMM) Adrian Sutil, the 25-year-old race driver for Force India, says he has chosen to not have a girlfriend during the early phase of his formula one career. The German, who made his debut for the outfit's previous incarnation Spyker in 2007, wrote in a column for Formule 1 Race Report that - in frequenting the paddock as a grand prix star - it would not be difficult to end his spell as a bachelor.

Force India qualifying round-up

The Force India Formula One Team will start tomorrow's Hungarian Grand Prix with Giancarlo Fisichella in 19th position and Adrian Sutil in 20th following a tight qualifying session at a scorching Hungaroring. The duo completed three runs each in the first 20 minute segment of Qualifying, and pushed hard to improve on the earlier morning practice session's form. Despite the back-row positions, their respective times were both within one second of 10th position, notwithstanding the return to the standard configuration gearbox. The team will now look to make up places in the 70 lap race tomorrow, which is due to start at 14:00hrs local time.
