Heidfeld claims McLaren interference, stewards investigate

BMW Sauber's Nick Heidfeld lodged a complaint against McLaren's drivers Saturday, saying their driving on the final lap of qualifying cost him third spot on the grid for Sunday's Formula One Grand Prix.

AFP - German Nick Heidfeld set the fastest time in Saturday's final practice ahead of Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix, as Briton Lewis Hamilton ran off the track and wound up only 11th.

As he's known in the Paddock, Quick Nick finally put together a good qualifying performance and ended up in P5. This is what he had to say: Satisfied with P5 with the problems I had lately. Qualifying started to be better, same time as Robert. Sadly he (Robert) couldn't go out in Q3 as he had a mechanical problem which I also felt but I could go out. Now I finally worked out how to get the best out of the tyres. The steering wasn't perfect in the car but it worked out.
