Both HRT cars at the finish but 4 laps down

Both HRT cars made it to the finish today at the Singaporean GP. They were however both 4 laps down on the leader. It was a tough race for Tonio as well as Daniel. They both broke their front wings during the race and had to have them changed, losing a lot of tracktime.

HRT upbeat with reduced performance deficit

HRT F1 Team are happy to have improved their cars considerably compared to Friday practices. FP3 has allowed the drivers to fine tune their cars’ set-up and it showed with an improvement of three seconds from yesterday. For tomorrow’s 61 laps race Daniel and Tonio will start from 23rd and 24th position respectively.

Not the greatest race for HRT

Vitantonio Liuzzi brought his HRT F1 car home in 19th position in today’s Belgian Grand Prix while 22-year-old Australian rookie Daniel Ricciardo could not complete the race after unusual vibrations on his car during the safety car period forced him to retire.

22nd and 23rd positions for Hispania

At HRT both drivers are fairly satisfied with their performances. Tonio Liuzzi did the best job set the 22nd time, just ahead of his teammate Daniel Ricciardo. Their are close behind Timo Glock's Virgin. Tonio will even start from 21st place as Toro Rosso's Sebastian Buemi will drop 5 places on the grid.

Double car finish for HRT at revamped Silverstone

The Hispania Racing Team has managed a double car finish at the revamped Silverstone circuit. During this afternoon's British Grand Prix, Tonio Liuzzi finished in 18th position team mate Daniel Ricciardo, who drove his first ever F1 race, crossed the finish line in 19th place.

Liuzzi officially presented as a Hispania race driver

Hispania Racing is pleased to announce that Vitantonio Liuzzi will take part in the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship as its second driver. With this appointment, the Spanish team’s line-up is complete for the upcoming season with the Italian driver joining Narain Karthikeyan behind the wheel of the F111.
