Red Bull's Vettel to trample rest of Hungaroring field

The venue for the Hungarian Grand Prix has been called Monaco with more run-off and without the million-dollar gin palaces or exorbitant prices. The Hungaroring is a tedious high downforce circuit, with lots of slow-speed corners (the average lap speed of 196km/h is the lowest of any permanent circuit on the calendar) and short straights that will test the effectiveness of the aero and power boosts available to drivers this year. Sebastian Vettel claimed his eighth pole position of the year on Saturday when he topped the times for Red Bull during qualifying for Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix.
