Button wins Spanish GP in Brawn one-two (Reuters)

Reuters - Britain's Jenson Button led a Brawn GP one-two triumph at the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday for the Formula One championship leader's fourth victory in five races.

Another sixth place for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro in the fifth race of the season, this time for Felipe Massa. The Brazilian driver, who set the third fastest race lap, fought for a place in the top four until he was forced to slow significantly to save fuel as, at the second pit stop, the full planned amount of fuel did not go in the tank.

Lewis was delayed at the start as he attempted to pass Nelson Piquet and ran onto the grass as the Renault jinked right ahead of him. Perhaps fortuitously, it dropped him behind the first-lap carnage, and he was able to steer around most of the debris to emerge 15th.

World championship leader Jenson Button was completely dominant at the Spanish Grand Prix Sunday. Button led a Brawn GP one-two, with team-mate Rubens Barrichello finishing second after starting third on the grid.

The Brazilian, who was at a loss to explain why his lead during the first 19 laps appeared to have been compromised by a more favourable strategy for Button, threatened to quit if his team-mate is getting preferential treatment."I need to find out what happened. I'm sure everything is OK but if I get the slightest sniff of the fact that they have favoured Jenson, I will hang up my helmet ­tomorrow," Barrichello told a reporter from Speed TV.Button's win was due to a change in his pit-stop strategy during the race and a tyre problem for Barrichello. "I'm disappointed I haven't won because I thought it was in the bag today," said Barrichello. "I had a great start and took the lead from Jenson going into the first corner. Everything felt quite comfortable. I was surprised when they told me they had switched Jenson from three stops to two."Barrichello was asked if he feared a repeat of the team preferences which blighted his time with Michael Schumacher at Ferrari, when Ross Brawn determined the Italian team's ­strategy. "I have had experience of that and if it happens I won't follow any team orders," he said. "I'm making this clear now. But we have a much more friendly situation in this team. "Absolutely not," he said. "The ­strategy change was my decision.
