20 July 2008 - The 2008 German Grand Prix yielded another double finish for the Force India Formula One Team, with Giancarlo Fisichella crossing the line in 14th position and Adrian Sutil in 16th.

Force India will keep drivers in 2009

Aug.11 (GMM) Force India is likely to field the same race driver lineup in 2009, high profile co-owner Vijay Mallya has said. Mallya, the billionaire Indian businessman, told F1's official website that he is happy with both Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil.

Force India qualifying round-up

The Force India Formula One Team will start tomorrow's Hungarian Grand Prix with Giancarlo Fisichella in 19th position and Adrian Sutil in 20th following a tight qualifying session at a scorching Hungaroring. The duo completed three runs each in the first 20 minute segment of Qualifying, and pushed hard to improve on the earlier morning practice session's form. Despite the back-row positions, their respective times were both within one second of 10th position, notwithstanding the return to the standard configuration gearbox. The team will now look to make up places in the 70 lap race tomorrow, which is due to start at 14:00hrs local time.

Force India delays new gearbox

Jul.29 (GMM) Force India has opted to delay the introduction of its new seamless shift gearbox. The back-of-the-grid Silverstone based team ran the unit at the Jerez test last week, and has long targeted the Hungarian grand prix this weekend for its race debut.

Force India say Fisichella has made Sutil quicker (Reuters)

Reuters - Giancarlo Fisichella has made Germany's Adrian Sutil raise his game since they became Force India team mates this season, according to the Formula One team's principal Colin Kolles.

Adrian Sutil - 19th: I'm a bit disappointed to be honest with this qualifying as I think we could have done a bit better. My second run was looking good, the car felt well balanced and I was comfortable, but then I ran a little bit wide on the last corner going into the straight and lost a couple of tenths. My last run was not so good as the balance had changed a little, but I did improve a bit, just not enough. It's a shame, but as we look better in race conditions we will see for tomorrow.
