Williams releases images of its new FW33

Amidst all business at Valencia, Williams F1 have released images of its new FW33. Although no formal launch, the car will start testing today at the track, in the below interim livery. A livery launch will follow at a later, unspecified time.

Q+A with Sam Michael

Yesterday, the Williams F1 Team started testing yesterday at the Valencia track in an interim livery. After the first day of testing, Sam Michael talked about the work done at the Circuit, the Pirelli tyres, the rear wing flap, KERS and launch of the race livery at the end of February.

Williams happy with first smooth KERS day

Williams were happy today after testing finished, as today marked their first day of running with KERS. More importantly, the system ran without problems after experiencing varying gremlins on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Off track excursion for Maldonado limits running

Behind the wheel of the F33 for the second day in Jerez, Spain, Pastor Maldonado only managed to complete 38 laps as he lost time due to systems checks on the KERS system. And once he got to running in the afternoon, he had an off that ended his running for the rest of the day.

Barrichello happy with Williams FW33

Williams continued testing with Rubens Barrichello in the car. The Brazilian eventually put the car on top of the timesheets setting the best time of the who 4-day test at Jerez. The team pack up in Jerez now and will be back in action at Bercelona in 18 February.
